It’s time for me to log out and shut down. By now people seem to be in logging out mode or panic-to-get-everything-done-at-the-last-minute mode. There’s a lot of frazzled people walking around.
Replenish yourself and find some time to relax, even if you expect to be busy. Find a way to treat yourself every day during the holidays whether or not you have a budget for it. Treating yourself means doing something that feels like a treat to you. Maybe it’s having tea under the tree, reading a good book or buying yourself some flowers to splash your room with colour.
Love yourself…. We take care of what we love. Delegate tasks so that you don’t land up doing everything yourself. You are worthy of having a break.
If you have children or grandchildren, google some fun things to do with them. Spend real time together. Be novel and spontaneous. Jump in the pool with your clothes on. Draw pictures with chalk all over the garden wall. We never get these days back, once they are gone, they're gone. Make the most of this time.
Be grateful for what you have and for what works. Things are not ever going to be perfect so let go a little and find a way to accept and enjoy what is.
Have a very happy and relaxing holiday. See you again in January 2016.
I will miss you …..
Eve
